Bea Valdes Website
We recently launched the new Bea Valdes website re-design. The previous site that we did for her lasted for almost 5 years and we still receive a lot of compliments on the design that we did for her. The new website features a collaboration work with Acid House for the videos/renderings and Diego Mapa for the sound scoring. The video intro for the website was always on the topic when we meet with Bea for her seasonal look-book, so we have a clear vision of it on how is it going to look on the website. It was a dream project and a dream collaboration for us!
Here are some of the stages of the website
We started by working around the idea for the forest scene which is present on the previous website. We wanted to create a fly-by scene wherein you see an insect exploring the forest encrusted with Bea's elements on the tree(images and videos are courtesy of Acid House and Bea Valdes) so we also worked with Acid House on the look and feel of the forest and also the custom insect.
Here are some rough comps for the video before polishing it to its details.
Aside from the intro videos, we also captured live footage for the inner pages and loop it to make them animated....also shooting for the mood shots was Rachel Rillo of Silverlens Galleries Here is the sample of the video...
