4:20 na! Mcdo na...

Its 4:08 am Sunday morning...waiting for the breakfast to pop up @ Mcdonalds Pearl Drive....still here at the studio in full battle gear. It has been another tight 2 weeks, but at least its now easing a little bit, just a few more days and it will be a-ok!

Another upcoming for San Miguel Corporation....proofing proofing and more proofing. We'll be posting the full work before the year ends =)



Also, we welcome the arrival of Evil....after 2 weeks of re-formatting and re-installing our OS, we finally acquired one Evil machine...hehe

A few days ago, we attended the talk of our very good friend Mich Dulce @ Ayala Museum. She is an award-winning fashion designer, milliner and corsetiere trained at Central Saint Martins, London College of Fashion and the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

Then earlier tonight, we dropped by the opening of the S.C.Vizcarra Workshop Store. We designed the S.C. Vizcarra website a few years back and we are very pleased to meet Rita Nazareno, the Creative and Managing Director of S.C. Vizcarra (we just used to communicate via emails to complete the site hehe)

Then after that, we just dropped by Resorts World and checked out Arturo Luz's exhibit....

This is our alternative design for the inforgraphics for SMC, later on it was used as an animation for their intranet service at SMC HQ. We animated this piece for them.

Another all-nighter here at the studio... We just got an email from a publisher in China, we replied with our usual footer which is "Cheers from Manila, Philippines" - Inksurge...then we got this reply...

"Dear Manila and Philippines,

Many thanks for your reply, we are glad you to take part in this project, thank
you!"

Moving on.....hehe posting our long-overdue post about the evil guys from Lucky Monkey -- Recently acquired one of their piece - which is a multi textured oxidized shatter ring shards, pounded with love..




Dante also showed us their "in the works" collection before sell 'em out on the streets...

On other news (which is really sad) - NU107 is closing down its doors after 23 years of rockin' Manila. We have been part of that station in many ways - we did the very last identity of the station, we met a lot of cool and good friends there, we won 3 awards from the Rock Awards, grew up listening to them, and Rex used to work there as a graphic designer and utusan hehe. Thank you NU107, keep on rockin....and good luck on the next chapter! We'll miss you bigtime NU!!!!
